Hi! I’m Athena, a mom of two fiery, adventurous toddlers (one of whom was born at home!)
I am a CAPPA Certified Labor Doula and have had the honor of supporting over 15 mommas in various birthing settings from home births to hospitals.
Growing up my mom sparked my love for birth and motherhood, by including me in her midwifery care and filling our home with empowering books like Ina May Gaskin’s Guide to Childbirth and The Bradley Method.
I’m a military brat and technically a Jacksonville local because we didn’t move around much.
I love reading! Anything from romance/adventure to nerdy psychology or birth books! I’m always open to finding new things for the kids to do, or fun ideas for a mom’s night out.✨
I can’t wait to get to know you and help support you however you need on your journey of motherhood!!
My approach
I’m all about YOU. Your comfort, your choices, your birth. Whether you’re looking for hands-on support with comfort measures, someone to hold space and simply be present or guidance through prenatal education, I’m here to walk alongside you. Every person’s journey is unique, and my role is to meet you where you are and offer the care you need, in the way you need it.
